Winter Camping at Heber Valley Camp
Portions of Heber Valley Camp are open for reservations during
the winter months.
2012-2013 Winter Season: November 2, 2012- March 23, 2013
The food preparation areas and restrooms are functioning
during the winter. There is running water, a refrigerator/freezer
and two CampChef stoves (propane provided) at each food preparation
area or small pavilion. The restrooms are heated, however
showers are only available by special request. The large camp
pavilions are heated in the kitchen and bunk areas.
The road from Heber City to the camp is kept plowed but does
become snow packed. We recommend 4-wheel drive vehicles. There
are hills and trails marked for sledding (no tubes), snow
shoeing and cross country skiing. No equipment is furnished
so bring your own.
